Sponsorship in Primary and Secondary Schools

For students whose guardians are unable to pay basic school fees, or for those who have been orphaned and are therefore left without financial assistance, Team Buhara seeks to meet their educational needs.

WHAT WE DO:

Sponsorship at Vocational Institutions

Many students in Buhara Village have reached secondary school, but have been unable to complete their tenure due to school fees or other concerns. For some of these students, returning to secondary school is the best option; for others, a vocational course is better suited. Team Buhara offers financial assistance for those students whose families are able to contribute a portion of the fees, but who need assistance to fulfill the costs. Individuals who receive assistance from Team Buhara for vocational training are asked to use their skills to give back to Team Buhara in the future.

WHAT WE DO:

Partnership with Buhara Primary School

Providing school fees is not enough in ensuring that Buhara pupils receive an education. Indeed, Buhara Primary School, where many sponsored primary school students study, struggles with many of the difficulties facing local schools: lack of resources, teacher vacancies, and low teacher motivation. We seek, therefore, to form a partnership with Buhara Primary School, working in conjunction with the Head teacher and the staff to improve instruction and staff performance.
